a romantic-rust-bouquet-inspired color palette
Woooo, color palettes are BACK!!! And they got a makeover!
Funny story about this one… when searching for inspo, I came across this beautiful, rust and peach bouquet on Pinterest. When trying to find the source, I kept coming up empty because various users had uploaded the image themselves and didn’t include a caption. So I clicked on the magnifying glass icon to try to find similar images that would hopefully lead me to the owner. The search did find a similar image, but the colors were brighter - the bouquet felt more tropical, with bright pinks and greens. I thought, “Hmm, ok, well that is definitely the same woman holding the bouquet…I just have to find HER!”
And I did. Then I scoured her website trying to find this rust-colored beauty. But again, I only saw the tropical bouquet. After looking closer, I realized that I was looking at the EXACT same image, only the one I found originally had been edited to change the colors. OMG, DUH.
So, if you’d like to learn more about this very talented New Zealand based florist, head over to http://www.ludiamondflowers.com/. Unfortunately, I don’t know who did this edit, so I can’t credit that person, but I hope you enjoy a peek at Lucy’s work!

WHAT ARE THESE COLOR CODES? The “hex codes” above are provided as a courtesy for those customizing website colors or looking for general color inspiration. They are not based on paint or Pantone chips. Remember that ink on paper will never look the same as light on a screen. If you like a combination you see, we recommend saving the image and heading to your local hardware store to find paint chips that match. Digital colors will change depending on your phone/tablet/computer screen, so be sure to color match with real swatches. Also, I make up all the color names.
Happy Friday!
