a neon-rainbow-inspired color palette

Good morning! Just popping in to blind you with some seriously bright summer colors. :)

I spent about 20 minutes tweaking a sulky, monochromatic palette until I realized it was draining all of my energy, soooo I switched gears and went for the opposite :: a NEON RAINBOW! Bam. Woke me right up.

Today’s juicy color palette is inspired by a photo by Chris Nguyen. If you’re planning a 4-year-old’s birthday party, love rainbows, or simply need an extra zap of energy today, this combo is for YOU.

Warning :: replicating these digital colors with 4-color-process printing will be impossible. You can get something similar, but light will always produce brighter neons than 4 inks mixed together on paper. If you’re using these colors for something important, like, say, fancy party invitations, your best bet is to print with neon Pantones or custom-mixed inks.

WHAT ARE THESE COLOR CODES? The hex codes above are provided as a courtesy for those customizing website colors or looking for general color inspiration. They are not based on paint or Pantone chips. Remember that ink on paper will never look the same as light on a screen. If you like a combination you see, we recommend saving the image and heading to your local hardware store to find paint chips that match. Digital colors will change depending on your phone/tablet/computer screen, so be sure to color match with real swatches.
