If you’ve been following my Friday color palettes since the beginning, you may have noticed that I made one major change in 2015 :: I switched from using my own photos to other people’s photos. One reason is that I simply got busier; the other is, it got easier to find gorgeous photography on the internet that was FAR—so, so, SO far—superior to mine. While I miss providing you with 100% original content, I have to say that finding new feeds and photographers to follow is really fun.
Take Sarah Irene Murphy, for instance…HOLY COW, her photography is awe-inspiring. Every photo is perfection in terms of light, color, and composition. If I could die and come back with a new talent, it would be the ability to photograph nature and scenery in a way that actually does the “real thing” justice.

WHAT ARE THESE COLOR CODES? The “hex codes” above are provided as a courtesy for those customizing website colors or looking for general color inspiration. They are not based on paint or Pantone chips. Remember that ink on paper will never look the same as light on a screen. If you like a combination you see, we recommend saving the image and heading to your local hardware store to find paint chips that match. Digital colors will change depending on your phone/tablet/computer screen, so be sure to color match with real swatches. Also, I make up all the color names.
Happy Friday [night]! Enjoy the long weekend!
