Idealist Serif :: a unique, elevated font
Idealist Serif is a unique, modern, and fashion-forward serif that comes with a variety of Opentype ligatures and alternates. What surprised me most after playing around with this font is that the lowercase set looks quite different from the uppercase: the former is all about twisty connections and curves, while the latter pulls closer to a slab serif with the added detail of “negative-space-swirly-bits” that remind me of marbled paper. If you play your cards right and only use the font in uppercase or lowercase (as opposed to title case or sentence case), it’s like you get two fonts in one. In short, it’s been really, really fun to experiment with this one!
