a brick-red-sink-inspired color palette

retro fall color palette based on a brick red sink

First, let me say I’m a little sad I’m not posting a Halloween palette for Friday the 13th…but seeing as Friday is only 4 hours away, I’m sticking with what I have!

Second, I’d like to point out that this color palette isn’t for everyone. This retro-inspired mix of brick red, gray-green, dark spruce, and green-black isn’t your typical people pleaser; however, I think it could work really well for the right person/brand. Some may say it’s too dark, but for me, it exudes confidence and originality.

What do you think?

The inspo photo is from one of my favorite brands: Claybrook (a home design studio based in the UK). Cropped out is their beautiful Cornucopia Rose terrazzo tile which you can see below:

You can now download a free printable PDF of this color palette that includes values for print (CMYK) and web (HEX, RGB, HSL) - as well as the closest Pantone matches for coated and uncoated stock! It’s everything you need to recreate this color combo on your own.
