Canva :: Halloween Fonts

Looking for Halloween fonts on Canva that feel a little more elevated and unexpected? Here is a fun mix that you can use for free with your subscription!

My 2025 Halloween Font List:

  1. Macabro Danger. Given its name, this is the one typeface on the list that has been designed to feel dark and creepy - BUT, because its strong sans-serif qualities make it more universal than some of its cartoony counterparts, I’m including it. I also appreciate that the texture and imperfections don’t get in the way of legibility.

  2. ITC Edwardian Script. This classic script is not usually associated with Halloween; however, with the right colors and context, it can take on a slightly spooky, elevated vibe.

  3. Doppler. This is a fun, modern take on blackletter. I love the angular details that remind me of folded paper.

  4. Oranienbaum. The height of this narrow serif font gives it a hint of sophistication that can work well for anything from seasonal branding to fancy costume parties.

  5. Simple Serenity. This is the font I used for my annual “Ghouls Game Night” invitation. Like most of the styles here, it is not Halloween-specific, but I love how elegant it looks in black and white. (The counter on the G reminds me of a cat tail, too.) :)
