a bluebell-inspired color palette

belladonna delphinium color palette of blue, lavender, pink, green

Any floral professionals here? Raise your hand if you whispered (or shouted), “That’s NOT a bluebell!” when you read my title. :)

Ok, ok. After some brief research, I’m pretty sure the florals above (as captured by the ever-so-enchanting Lightbulb League) are light blue belladonna delphiniums. My title is inaccurate but “bluebell” sounded better…and it still identifies the shade of blue used in the color palette. (Plus, people here in Texas are quite familiar with bluebells.)

If the recent heat advisory has you seeking cooler, more spring-like temps, this color combo is for you! It features petal pink, lavender (in two shades), bluebell blue, and spring green.

Here’s the color palette “in action” if it helps you visualize!
