A Poppy-Inspired Summer Color Palette
Poppies are my favorite flower. Anemones, English garden roses, ranunculus, and dahlias are close behind, but there’s something about a peachy-pink-poppy’s crinkly petals and fluffy stamens that spark joy for me.
Today’s color palette features coral, orange, yellow, green, and blue. It’s a little more “rainbow-y” than I typically design; however, a summer color story felt incomplete without a bright, cheerful yellow.
Happy Friday!
P.S. It wasn’t until I made the PDF download (below) that I realized how similar the top and bottom colors are to my previous color palette. Whoops! I guess I’m really feeling those hues right now. :) It’s important to note how different the palette feels overall by changing the interior colors, though!
You can now download a free printable PDF of this color palette that includes values for print (CMYK) and web (HEX, RGB, HSL) - as well as the closest Pantone matches for coated and uncoated stock! It’s everything you need to recreate this color combo on your own.
