They rebranded because :: They needed to reorganize and refresh their existing branding, as well as create a new suite of stationery for their growing team (including letterpress business cards and shipping labels, plus multiple sizes of envelopes).

What they do :: Create inspired, deeply personal residential spaces, often from the ground up, by collaborating closely with architects and builders. Tracy Morris Design is widely regarded as a top-tier luxury interior firm, consistently earning rave reviews for their refined, architecturally informed design.

We loved working with them because :: Specialty print design that matches the quality and calibre of our clients’ work is what we do best.

One puzzle to solve :: TMD’s color palette is simple but extremely specific. When we couldn’t find a stock to match their signature taupe, we decided to flood the back of the business card, leaving out the M so it showed white. This allowed the texture of the paper to show through ever-so-slightly, giving it added visual interest without distracting from the logo.

What they said when they saw the final product :: “You are the most talented brand / paper / logo creator I know.”

DETAILS TO LOOK FOR ::

  • a classic Didone mixed with a clean sans-serif provides an elegant, timeless look that doesn’t distract from TMD’s work

  • a full stationery suite makes a statement in quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail

  • from the letterpress printed logos to the stippled, duplexed business cards, each piece adds to the luxurious, tactile experience
